Trial, Returns, and Exchanges Policy

100-Day Trial Policy


Starting from the date of receipt of your order, you have a generous 100-day period to evaluate our products. This period begins upon receipt of each individual item. For instance, if you have ordered multiple products with different delivery dates, the 100-day period starts from the receipt of each item. This means that each item in your order will have its own distinct 100-day trial period from its delivery date. Thus, an order containing multiple items with different delivery dates may have multiple different maximum return dates, each corresponding to the delivery date of the respective item.


Returns

Free return conditions:

To be eligible for a free return, items must be returned in new, unused condition, and with their original packaging intact. This process ensures that our products are ready for resale and ensures a consistent experience for all our customers.


Return shipping fees:

If you have used or opened a product but return it in its original condition with packaging, fixed shipping fees will be charged to facilitate the return process. These fees cover the logistical costs associated with returning the item and ensure efficient handling of returns for all our customers.

Return inspection:

Upon receiving the returned product, our team conducts a rigorous inspection to assess its condition under our return criteria. Any returned product that does not meet these criteria may be refused or may result in a deduction from the refund amount.

During the inspection of returned products, our team meticulously examines each item based on several stringent criteria. We check the overall condition of the item, the integrity of its packaging, any signs of use or alteration, the presence and condition of accessories, functionality, cleanliness, its correspondence with the initial description, the presence of original documents and labels, as well as any damage possibly caused by the customer, whether through improper use of the product or inadequate packaging when returning the products.


This thorough approach ensures that each returned product is assessed fairly and in line with our quality standards, thus ensuring a satisfying shopping experience for all our customers.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Some items are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or refunds due to their nature or specific circumstances. These exceptions include:

  • Shipping fees
  • Installation fees
  • Customized products
  • Samples
  • Gift cards
  • Items with additional discounts*

*Products discounted due to their status as previous models, demonstration units, or returns from a previous customer (open box) cannot be returned.

It is important to note that even though they are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or refunds, the products listed above may remain covered by the manufacturer's warranty.


Exchanges

Exchanges are processed as two separate transactions. Before shipping the desired new item for exchange, a preliminary step is required: the return of the original item. Once the inspection is approved, and if the desired new item for exchange has a price difference, the refund or billing for it will be processed upfront. Then, we will proceed with sending the desired new item.


To initiate a return:

  • Return requests must be submitted via email to support@burotic.com within 100 days of receiving the item.
  • In your request, please include photographic evidence showing the condition of the product as well as its proper packaging in its original packaging. It is essential to note that without the original packaging, items are likely to be damaged during the return transportation.
  • Once approved, we will issue a prepaid return shipping label. Return authorizations expire 14 days after approval. We will arrange for the pickup at your home according to your convenience.

Important details:

  • We understand that during transportation, there is a risk of damage. To minimize this risk, please carefully package the products. If you have any doubts about how to pack them, feel free to seek advice from our support team.
  • In the event that a damaged item arrives at our warehouse due to inadequate packaging, fees will be deducted from the refund. These fees are assessed on a case-by-case basis, depending on the extent of the damage. Deductions can be up to 35% of the total item price.
  • No returns will be accepted after the 100-day period expires. We grant a response time of 48 hours before this period is extended. For example, if you contact our support team on the 97th day to initiate a return and take more than 48 hours to respond to our communication, each additional day will be added to the initial 100-day period. Therefore, no returns will be accepted if you respond after 5 days.

Refunds :

Returns are typically inspected and processed within 5 business days of receipt.

Your refund will be issued to your original payment method as soon as we have processed your return. Most refunds are processed within 5 business days of receiving the return. However, please note that refunds may take 7 to 10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your financial institution.


Please note that we reserve the right to refuse a refund or deduct return fees if the return criteria are not met.

Please note that effective May 3, 2024, our trial, return, and exchange policy has been updated. This change applies to all orders placed from this date forward.
