The type of wood I chose (solid walnut) is magnificent.
Delivery was quick and I'm glad I got the installation.
I also bought the anti-fatigue mat and it is ideal when working standing up.
I also suggest adding a power bar to simplify the connections.

I absolutely love my new desk! This is the first time I’ve ever tried a standing desk, so I was a little apprehensive to spend so much money, but I’m very happy with my purchase.

I tend to overthink / overcomplicate decisions / purchases, so needless to say I spent A LOT of time researching the various companies / products. In the end it was hard to decide among a few in my shortlist, but I absolutely know now that I made the right choice. Support was also very patient / helpful to make that decision easier.

Shipping was very quick, and the desk was extremely easy to build. The stand is very sturdy / well made, and definitely a higher quality than I was expecting. There’s a small amount of wiggle when the desk is in an extended position, but it’s barely noticeable, and definitely not as much of a problem as I thought it would be.

The desktop (Ambrosia Maple) is absolutely beautiful. I knew it was going to be nice, but it actually exceeded my expectations by a long shot. It has a very smooth, matte finish which is just an absolute pleasure to touch.

Overall I’m extremely happy with my purchase, and if you’re considering a solid wood standing desk, I strongly getting one from Burotic!

I’ve only had the desk for a week and used it as inspiration to overhaul my office to do it justice. I’m looking forward to more productive work days without all the clutter I used to have. Also, looking forward to seeing my various therapists (chiro, massage) less frequently now that I have an ergonomic setup as well as reminders to stand up. Thank you for the well-packed items that are gorgeous and well made! The set up instructions are straight-forward. A second set of hands is definitely needed to handle the weight of the wood top with legs.
